Dr. Angie's Tutoring & Learning Resources Center

I am Dr. Angie.  I have made a career as an educator for more than 30 years.  I started Dr. Angie's Tutoring & Learning Resources Center as an effort to help tackle the lack of affordable and accessible community-based tutoring services for K-12 students in economically disadvantaged areas, minority populated suburbs, rural communities, and for working parents wanting community-based help for their children. At Dr. Angie's Tutoring, we focus on the foundational skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic (math) - the 3Rs, helping kids with homework, and closing the equity gap one student at a time.

The business opened on June 23, 2021, at 317 Ecorse Road, Ypsilanti, MI. Since then, Dr. Angie's Tutoring has transitioned from a limited liability company to a non-profit organization. Tutors meet, in-person, at local libraries, which are strategically located throughout communities and readily accessible by foot or public transportation, on-line, or in the mobile unit.
